  • Who operates my holiday once I’m on the ground?

    Our worldwide collection of journeys are operated by a select number of preferred travel partners who we have chosen and who are experts within specific regions and combine the same style and superior level of service that has become synonymous with Hosted Journeys.
  • I am travelling alone. Is this OK?

    Many passengers travel with Hosted Journeys on their own. You can choose to pay the single-supplement rate which enables you to be accommodated in a single room. Alternatively, you can choose to be matched up with a person of the same gender and pay the twin-share price. In this instance, accommodation will be in twin-bedded rooms. This is operated on a request basis and your helloworld Travel Advisor will help you with this process.
  • I noticed that a lot of my meals are included. I have a dietary requirement, is this going to be a problem?

    Hosted Journeys will endeavour to cater for all special diets and preferences. Please advise your Travel Advisor of your dietary requirements at the time of booking and we will include the information within your booking to ensure you are catered for appropriately. Please note that in more remote locations options may be more limited.
  • Are the flights included?

    Your helloworld Travel Advisor will be able to give you a price which includes flights from your nearest capital city. If you are travelling from a regional area, your consultant will assist you with these flights and cost the total price for your convenience.
  • What should I pack?

    Your final documents will include a packing list for the destination you are visiting, to assist with your preparation.
  • How do I organise my visa?

    Whether or not you require a visa will depend on your country of origin and your destination. Your helloworld Travel Advisor will assist you with your visa requirements. The cost of any relevant visas is additional.
  • Do you have Guaranteed Departures?

    All Hosted Journeys departures must meet minimum numbers to be guaranteed. The minimum number is dependent on the destination and will be specified to you by your helloworld Travel Advisor. Generally, all Hosted Journeys depart.
  • What is your cancellation policy?

    Please see Terms and Condition under How to Book.
  • Are you part of any rewards programs?

    No.
  • What are the passport requirements for travelling overseas?

    The requirements change depending on your destination. Generally, you will require a minimum of six months validity on your passport, from the date you return from you travels. Most countries have very informative websites that explain their requirements, or contact your helloworld Travel Advisor for further details.
  • What is the average age of people on tour?

    Our clients are generally 50+, but more than age, a positive attitude is important in a group situation. We have found ages to be as diverse and varied as the sites and attractions you will see on tours.
  • Do I need a good level of fitness?

    Different destinations and itineraries will require more fitness than others. Please discuss this with your helloworld Travel Advisor.
  • Do I need vaccinations for the destination I am going to?

    You should consult your GP or the Travel Doctor or check through www.tmvc.com.au for the latest immunisations and medical advice.
  • Is it safe to travel to my destination?
