Fri 28 April 2017 – Redcliffe
After breakfast we will be off on our day trip to the bayside area of Redcliffe. Our first stop will be Clontarf to enjoy a coffee and watch the penguin feeding. Afterwards we will head to Redcliffe to visit the local museum and experience a guided tour of the Bee Gees Way outdoor museum. Located off Redcliffe Parade, Bee Gees Way is a multi-media celebration of the Gibb brothers’ phenomenal career and their links to Redcliffe.
For lunch, we will head to The Point RSL. Afterwards we will have time for shopping, a short stroll or a chance to just sit and take in the beautiful area. We make our way back to Brisbane via the other stunning beach areas before arriving at the famous Eat Street Markets at 4.30pm.
Eat Street Markets are set up in an old, disused container wharf and is a wonderment of the senses. It is a foodies delight so we will be able to have an early meal (own expense) before being transferred back to our hotel.
Sat 29 April 2017 – Brisbane
This morning we’ll enjoy a leisurely breakfast and some free time to explore the city. Lunch today will be on board the “Kookaburra Queen”. Take in the views as we leisurely cruise the waterways of the city, whilst enjoying a three course, a la carte menu served to our table. See Brisbane’s best sights including the beautiful botanic gardens, Kangaroo Point cliffs, Maritime Museum, Southbank precinct, the Story Bridge and many more of this city’s spectacular attractions.
This evening we are off to see My Fair Lady. This 60th anniversary production tells the story of Eliza Doolittle. It is directed by none other than Dame Julie Andrews and has been described by the New York Times as one of the best musicals of the century. After breaking records in Sydney in 2016, it is set to be the musical you just don’t want to miss!
Sun 30 April 2017 – Brisbane – Home Port
